ADVENTURE & TRAILS
Mushrif Hub
Dubai Municipality opened Mushrif Hub in May 2025 as a base for outdoor recreation inside Mushrif National Park. It has a mountain bike skills area, food outlets, changing rooms, showers, and prayer facilities. Cyclists and hikers can also start the new bridge and trail experience from Mushrif Hub.

Mountain Biking
Mushrif Park has a mountain biking network with a total length of 50 km, according to Dubai Municipality.
An earlier phase covered 20 km of green and blue tracks. The later red route extended the network to 50 km. This explains why some older pages still give a 20 km figure.
The skills area uses three difficulty levels:
- Green for beginners
- Blue for intermediate riders
- Red for advanced riders
Helmets should be worn, and cyclists should remain on designated cycling tracks.

Hiking Trail
The dedicated mountain walking route is 9.7 km long. It includes an 8.3 km yellow recreational track and a 1.4 km orange sports track for people with greater fitness and endurance.
The route includes slopes, wooden stairs, bridges, sculptures, and rest areas.
Children aged 12 to 15 may use the hiking tracks when accompanied by an adult, according to Dubai Municipality. Carry drinking water and wear suitable footwear.

102m Bridge
Dubai Municipality opened the new bridge on 23 August 2026.
The structure is 102 metres long and has separate lanes for mountain bikers and hikers. It connects trail sections that were previously separated by a vehicle road.
The full mountain biking journey across the bridge and its approaches measures 182 metres.

Young Rangers Cycling Trail
The Young Rangers Cycling Trail opened at Mushrif Hub on 29 December 2025.
It is a 1.5 km free cycling track for children under 12 and runs through the park’s forest landscape. Dubai Municipality states that it is open daily from sunrise to sunset.
Children encounter features such as balance beams, wooden rollers, turns, and rock garden sections designed around younger riders.

Aventura Parks
Aventura Parks is a paid treetop attraction inside Mushrif Park, with rope obstacles, climbing activities, and ziplines among the Ghaf trees.
Entry to Aventura is separate from normal park admission. Activity eligibility also differs by circuit, so height and age requirements should be checked when booking.
Visit Dubai’s 2026 city guide confirms that Aventura operates at Mushrif Park and includes rope climbing, ziplining, and tree-based activities for children and adults.

FAMILY & LEISURE
Swimming
Mushrif Park also has swimming facilities. Swimming carries a separate charge from general park admission.
For current pool prices, timings, and access details, use the dedicated Mushrif Park Swimming Pool guide rather than treating general park entry as a pool ticket.

BBQ or Picnic
Mushrif Park has spaces used for family picnics and BBQs.
Cooking and lighting fires are not permitted on the hiking trail or in its forest sections, so BBQs should stay within the areas provided for that purpose.

Children’s Play Areas
Dubai Municipality confirms that Mushrif National Park has children’s play zones as part of its family facilities.
Families can combine playground time with a picnic, swimming, or the children’s cycling trail.

International Village
The International Village contains 13 models of traditional houses representing architectural styles from different parts of the world.
The contractor responsible for Mushrif National Park’s development confirms that the International Village formed part of the Dubai Municipality project and contains different house styles from around the world.
Older records describe European, Asian, and Arabic architectural styles. I would not list individual countries as confirmed current exhibits unless their labels are checked at the park.

CULTURE & SPORTS
Al Thuraya Astronomy Centre
Al Thuraya Astronomy Centre is located inside Mushrif Park and is operated by Dubai Astronomy Group.
Dubai Municipality lists exhibition areas, lecture halls and an astronomical observation lounge among the centre’s facilities.
Its programmes and public access follow a separate schedule from general park entry, so astronomy visits should be planned around the centre’s own programme.

Sports Facilities
Dubai Municipality’s 2025 information confirms that the park has multipurpose sports fields and courts alongside its cycling, play, and recreation facilities.
I have not included horse riding or the park train as current activities because I could not verify their present operation from a recent official source.
